Iain Macindoe

Jannie Viljoen

Iain started in reinsurance in 1986 and has significant experience as a client advocate to key South African treaty clients, with a particular focus on UMAs. Before starting Resilea Iain was CEO of Willis Re South Africa, where he worked for more than 21 years. Iain holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Hons) and is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (London).

Jannie started his insurance career in employee benefits as an actuarial consultant in pensions and health. In 2009 he moved into reinsurance, consulting to African and South African treaty clients, particularly UMAs and new initiatives. Jannie left his position as broking executive in reinsurance at Willis Re to join Iain at Resilea. He is a student member of the Institute of Actuaries and the Chartered Insurance Institute, both in London.

Neethal Natha

Mathew joined the Resilea team in June 2019 on a part time basis. He has recently joined the team on a full-time basis effective June 2020. Mathew is a Chartered Accountant with audit and corporate finance experience in numerous different industries. In addition to his articles, Mathew also spent just over 2 years in the Corporate Finance team at Deloitte. Mathew is involved in both the broking arm of Resilea as well as the consulting offering. Mathew has assisted with numerous merger and acquisition opportunities since joining Resilea.

Neethal joined the Resilea team in January 2017. Her experience spans reinsurance broking, consulting, actuarial analytics, financial modelling and reinsurance optimisation. She has previously worked at Willis Re, heading up the Analytics division and Alexander Forbes, where she worked in the Healthcare Actuarial team. Neethal has a BSc with majors in Actuarial Science and Mathematical Statistics from the University of the Witwatersrand. Neethal is an Associate Actuary from the Actuarial Society of South Africa (AMASSA) and has obtained her Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) qualification.
